Guar Gum is used as Emulsifying, Stablizing and Thickening Agent for Soups, Sauces, Curries, Ice-cream & Pastries. Guar Gum makes curries with consistent thickness. It is used in Salad Dressings and Curries to prevent the separation of Oil with Vinegar or Water and to keep the Spices in a curry blended in a perfect mixture. Guar Gum is also used in cosmetic formulations such as shampoos, soaps, lip balms, skin salves etc. Guar Gum has 8 times thickening ability than corn starch. Guar gum is commercially extracted from the seeds of the Guar plant through a 4-step process that includes: roasting, de-husking, grinding and sieving. The remaining purified, powdery substance is an off-white, flour-like powder with an earthy odor. India exports 90% of Guar Gum all over the world. MB Herbals Guar Gum is processed from Guar Beans grown in Gujarat, India. We are based at Ahmedabad which is the most prominent Guar Gum manufacturing and exporting city in the world.
