Change up your salsa routine with this creative recipe for sweet and spicy Roasted Pineapple Salsa. Pair it perfectly with our Gluten Free Sea Salt Crackers!
Instructions:
- Lightly brush pineapple pieces with oil, then place on a hot grill.
- Cook pineapple slices for about 15 minutes (or until soft and charred), flipping halfway through. Remove and allow to cool to room temperature and chop.
- In a large bowl combine the chopped pineapple, red onion, lime juice, cilantro, jalapeno pepper and mix together.
- Add salt to taste.
- If time permits, allow the salsa to sit at least 15 minutes before serving for the flavors to blend.
- Serve with Milton’s Gluten Free Sea Salt Crackers and enjoy!

- 1 medium pineapple peeled, cored and sliced into 1/2 inch slices
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1/3 cup chopped red onion
- 1 lime
- 1/2 cup chopped cilantro leaves
- 1-2 jalapeno peppers seeds removed, diced (or, if you want to turn up the heat)
- Salt to taste
